After our recent visit to the SCIN Gallery, the UK’S leading company in sourcing and advising on excellent quality materials we got a taste of what they had to offer with their show case primed to present some of this years young visionaries with their innovative ideas.

Our favourite material was the ‘silicone polymer’, which is unlike any other material as it embodies the remarkable property of self healing.

When two freshly cut edges are brought back together it becomes virtually impossible to separate. This makes silicone polymer one of the few materials that can be welded to itself using itself.
